Botanical extracts in an oil-based balm

The balm is built on cetyl ethylhexanoate and caprylic/capric triglyceride, with soybean, jojoba and rice bran oils. It also carries extracts of green tea, neem leaf and flower, holy basil, turmeric root, aubergine and aloe flower, plus sodium guaiazulene sulfonate.

Tested and certified

Dr. Althea states the balm is vegan certified and has been through sensitive-skin patch testing and eye irritation testing at the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences. The brand designed it for quick, easy cleansing that dissolves make-up and helps clear residue from pores.

Pack size

The 50 ml (1.69 fl oz) balm comes in a pack measuring about 8.6 x 7.6 x 7.2 cm.

How to use

Twist the pack clockwise to dispense an appropriate amount: half a turn for light make-up, a full turn for heavier make-up. Massage gently over the skin in a rolling motion to dissolve make-up, then gradually add a little water to emulsify. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Before you choose

This is a rinse-off cleansing balm and it contains soybean oil. If red spots, swelling, itching or other irritation occur during or after use, stop using it and consult a doctor. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes and open wounds, and do not swallow. Not for use on children. Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight.
