Dosing set out for adults, teens and children

This chewable comes with separate directions for three age groups, from children aged 4 up to adults. Each tablet provides 125 mg of vitamin C as ascorbic acid, plus 15 calories and 2 g of carbohydrate. It is sweetened with xylitol and mannitol.

Mushroom and larch ingredients

The formula is built around Gluconic DMG, Maitake PD-Fraction, an extract of maitake mushroom, and larch tree arabinogalactan powder with beta 1,3 glucans. These sit alongside vitamins C, D and E, zinc, elderberry and astragalus in one tablet.

What is in the bottle

There are 120 chewable tablets in the bottle, which comes in a box of around 16.1 x 8.1 x 8 cm. One tablet counts as a serving.

How to use

Adults aged 18 and over: chew 1 tablet two to four times a day, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Teens aged 12 to 17: chew 1 tablet twice a day, and do not take more than 2 tablets daily. Children aged 4 to 11: chew 1 tablet a day, and do not exceed 1 tablet daily.

Before you choose

Not for children under 4. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an autoimmune disorder, or take immune-suppressing or blood-thinning medicines, consult your healthcare practitioner before use. Stop taking it two weeks before surgery. The label notes that it contains a bioengineered food ingredient. Colour may vary. Store in a cool, dry place. The US label carries a California Prop 65 notice about lead. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
