Each capsule combines 500 mg of Phase 2 white kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) extract with 100 mg of Gymnema sylvestre leaf and 100 mcg of chromium as ChromeMate chromium polynicotinate. Phase 2 and ChromeMate are branded ingredients, and DaVinci Laboratories lists the capsules as vegetarian and gluten free.
Timed around starchy meals
Rather than a fixed daily dose, the capsule is taken with water before meals that contain starchy carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, rice or potatoes. It is meant to sit alongside a balanced diet, not replace one.
