Whitening Power is the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste with the highest level of the range's whitening ingredient, to remove surface stains compared with Pro-Health Clean Mint. It sits within a range designed to cover several everyday concerns in one paste.

Stannous fluoride at its core

The active ingredient is stannous fluoride, which helps strengthen enamel, and the manufacturer states the formula fights plaque and covers areas a dentist checks, including cavities, plaque, sensitivity, tartar, whitening and fresh breath. It is designed as a single everyday toothpaste rather than one of several products.

Twin pack

The pack contains two 4.6 oz tubes of the same Whitening Power formula, so you have a spare ready when the first runs out.

How to use

Adults and children aged 12 and over: apply at least a 1-inch strip to a soft-bristle toothbrush and brush thoroughly for at least one minute, twice a day (morning and evening), or as recommended by a dentist. Make sure you brush all sensitive areas. Do not swallow. Children under 12: ask a dentist.

Before you choose

Not intended for children under 12 without a dentist's advice. Do not use for sensitivity for longer than four weeks unless a dentist recommends it, and stop using it and ask a dentist if sensitivity persists or worsens, as sensitive teeth may indicate a problem that needs prompt care. Keep out of reach of children. If more than the amount used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help promptly. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.

Full ingredients

Active: Stannous fluoride 0.454% (0.14% w/v fluoride ion).

Inactive: water, sorbitol, hydrated silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, carrageenan, sodium gluconate, flavor, xanthan gum, zinc citrate, stannous chloride, sodium hydroxide, sodium saccharin, sucralose, mica, titanium dioxide, blue 1.
