As the name suggests, this cleanser begins as a cream and turns into a foam as you work it over damp skin. That makes it an easy fit for a regular morning or evening face wash, whether at the basin or in the shower.

Ceramides and hyaluronic acid on the label

The ingredient list includes three ceramides (NP, AP and EOP) and sodium hyaluronate, along with a run of amino acids such as glycine, serine and arginine. Glycerin sits second on the list, straight after water, and mild cleansing agents such as sodium methyl cocoyl taurate and coco-betaine provide the lather.

Fragrance-free formula

The cleanser is fragrance-free, which suits anyone who prefers unscented skincare. It is made by CeraVe, whose products are built around three essential ceramides.
