A multi-source protein matrix

Syntha-6 uses a protein matrix of whey protein concentrate, hydrolysed whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, micellar casein, calcium caseinate and milk protein isolate, plus medium chain triglycerides. The label lists 10 g of essential amino acids per serving.

Flavour and mixing

The chocolate milkshake flavour is artificial, and the powder includes cocoa processed with alkali. Lecithin from soybean oil is added to help it mix. The label suggests mixing with water or a drink of your choice, or with non-fat or low-fat milk for a thicker shake.

Pack size

The 1.32 kg (2.91 lb) tub is the smaller of the two sizes, with one serving being about one scoop (47 g).

How to use

Take 47 g (about 1 scoop) with 4 to 5 fl oz (about 120 to 150 ml) of cold water or any drink you choose. Using non-fat or low-fat milk raises the protein per serving. For healthy adults, the label advises meeting your daily protein requirement through a combination of high-protein foods and protein supplements as part of a balanced diet and exercise programme.
