Product details

No sharpening needed

Each pencil comes loaded with three pieces of No. 2 (HB) lead, advanced by clicking the eraser on top. BIC says the lead resists smudging and erases cleanly, and describes it as compatible with most standardised tests.

For school, office or home

The 0.7 mm point suits a wide range of everyday writing, from homework to notes at work. Colourful clips attach to pockets and notebooks, and the round plastic barrels suit left- and right-handed writers alike.

A bulk pack of 40

Forty pencils is enough to stock a desk, classroom or office, and BIC suggests the pack will keep you supplied all year. The pastel barrels make it easy to share them out within a family or class.

How to use

Click the eraser on top to advance the lead, then write as normal. Click again to extend more lead when it wears down, and use the eraser to rub out mistakes.

Before you choose

These are mechanical pencils with built-in erasers, and the listing does not mention refill leads beyond the three pieces in each pencil. Imported products may differ from local versions, including labelling and instructions. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
