Betty Crocker Favorites Super Moist mix bakes a soft, plain white cake that you can serve as it is or dress up with frosting and decorations. The manufacturer suggests it for everything from an ordinary weekday pudding to a birthday, holiday or even a wedding cake.
What you need to add
The 14.25 oz box contains the dry mix only. You will need oil, water and three eggs, plus a large mixing bowl, an electric mixer and a 9x13 inch tin, which is close to a standard 23 x 33 cm traybake tin. The mix uses US cup measures, so a set of measuring cups makes preparation easier.
How to use
Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine 1/3 cup oil, 1 1/3 cups water and 3 eggs, then add the cake mix. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 inch tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a cocktail stick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
