Fresh Breath Enzymatic Dog ToothpasteArm & Hammer Fresh Breath Enzymatic Dog Toothpaste, Vanilla Ginger, 67.5 g (2.4 oz)

An enzyme gel for everyday dog dental care

This gel combines baking soda, which cleans and deodorises, with enzymes formulated to fight tartar build-up. The manufacturer states it also helps whiten your dog's teeth, and the listing describes it as safe for puppies.

Plant extracts and a mild flavour

Alongside the enzymes, the formula includes papaya and pineapple fruit extracts, green tea leaf extract and chrysanthemum extract. The vanilla ginger flavour is designed to be gentler than meaty pastes, which some owners prefer for daily use.

Works with a finger or a brush

The gel can be applied with your finger at first, then with a toothbrush or finger brush once your dog is comfortable. The tube holds 67.5 g and measures about 3.3 x 4.6 x 19 cm.

How to use

For first-time brushers, put a small amount on your finger and let your dog lick it off. Slowly progress to lifting your dog's lips and rubbing the gel along the gumline and teeth. When your dog is comfortable, use a toothbrush or finger brush and repeat. Keep brushing a positive experience, brush daily, and ideally avoid food and drink for an hour afterwards.

Before you choose

This gel is made for dogs, not for people, and does not replace veterinary dental care. Keep out of reach of children. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
