This mask is made to slot into a night routine, particularly if you already use a retinol serum and want a low-effort step alongside it. Anua says it suits all skin types and can be part of simple daily care.

In the brand's four-week clinical testing, the look of pores was reduced, with pore count down 33.2%, pore depth down 24.1% and pore area down 44.3%. Anua also reports a 2.21% improvement in skin elasticity after two weeks. Individual results will differ.

A thin, biodegradable sheet

The microfibre sheet is described as biodegradable and about one hundredth the thickness of a hair, so it hugs the face closely and lets the formula absorb with a lightweight, non-sticky finish. Shea butter, ceramide NP and panthenol sit alongside the actives.

This is a cosmetic mask, and it is designed as a night-time step.
