Shell pasta with real aged cheddar

Annie's pairs organic pasta shells with a dried aged cheddar sauce mix for a classic boxed macaroni and cheese. The manufacturer states it is made with 100% real cheese and has no artificial flavours, synthetic colours or preservatives.

It suits a family side dish, a quick lunch or a simple dinner, and the manufacturer also suggests using it as the base for a baked bacon mac and cheese. The back of the box has a printed activity for children to enjoy while they wait.

What is in the box

Each 6 oz (170 g) box contains the pasta shells and a cheese sauce packet, enough for about two and a half servings. Annatto extract is used for colour.

How to use

Boil the pasta shells in water, then drain in a colander. Following the box directions, add three tablespoons of low-fat milk, sprinkle in the cheese packet and stir. It is ready in about 10 minutes.
