Advanced Clinicals 10% Glycolic Acid + Lactic Acid Exfoliating Body Cream combines two alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) with hyaluronic acid in a rich moisturising base. It exfoliates to reveal softer, more radiant-looking skin and helps improve the look of rough, dry and uneven texture on the arms, shoulders, legs, neck and decolletage.

Texture and feel

A velvety lotion-cream that feels rich like a body butter without a greasy finish. It comes in a large 454 g (16 oz) pump jar with a removable twist-off cap so you can use every last bit. There are no added fragrances; the active ingredients have a natural scent that fades.

What the ingredients do

Glycolic acid and lactic acid (AHAs) exfoliate and smooth the look of textured skin. Hyaluronic acid and squalane hydrate, licorice root extract helps soften the look of dark spots for a more even-looking tone, and vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps nourish skin.

How to use

Apply a small amount to dry or damp, cleansed skin and massage until fully absorbed. Best used once daily in the evening. Start slowly: use every other night and increase only if your skin tolerates it. A slight tingle can occur at first and usually settles as skin adjusts.

Before use

Sunburn alert: this product contains alpha hydroxy acids that can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using it and for 2 weeks afterwards. Avoid using alongside retinol or other strong exfoliating acids. For external use only. Avoid the eyes (rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs) and stop use if irritation develops. Keep out of reach of children.
