Choosing this cleanser

This is a wash-off treatment, not a leave-on spot gel. A stronger percentage is not automatically the best choice for sensitive skin: benzoyl peroxide can cause dryness, redness and peeling. Check with a pharmacist if you are unsure which strength to use.

How to use

1. Wet the face and massage gently for 20 to 30 seconds, keeping clear of the eyes.
2. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
3. Start once a day. Increase gradually to twice or three times daily only if needed. If drying or peeling is troublesome, reduce to once daily or every other day.

Important precautions

For external use only. Do not use on very sensitive skin or if you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Keep away from eyes, lips and mouth. It can bleach hair, towels and coloured fabrics.

Using other topical acne treatments at the same time can increase irritation; if this happens, use only one at a time. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and apply sunscreen when going outside. If irritation or sensitivity develops after using sunscreen with this treatment, stop both. Stop treatment if irritation is severe. Keep out of reach of children.
