The MK-4 form of vitamin K

This supplement uses menaquinone-4, known as MK-4, which NOW describes as a biologically active form of vitamin K-2. Vitamin K is historically known for its part in normal blood clotting, which is why the warnings below matter.

Simple vegetarian formula

The capsule is hypromellose, a cellulose-based shell, and the other ingredients are ascorbyl palmitate, rice flour and silicon dioxide. The label lists it as non-GMO, vegetarian/vegan, kosher and halal.

How to use

Take 1 capsule daily with a meal.

For adults only. Do not use if pregnant, nursing, or allergic or contraindicated to aspirin. Consult a doctor if taking medication, especially blood thinners such as warfarin, heparin or aspirin. Discontinue use two weeks before surgery or if stomach upset occurs. Natural colour variation may occur. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. Food supplement.
