The rinse is inspired by the Ayurvedic practice of oil pulling, in which oils are swished through the mouth. The bottom layer also includes aloe vera, zinc citrate, xylitol and vitamin C. The brand lists it as vegan, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified and Leaping Bunny certified.

How to use

Shake well for 10 to 15 seconds, pour a capful into your mouth, and gently swish and pull the oil between your teeth and gums. The label says to start with 3 minutes and work up to 20 minutes. Spit it into a bin, not the sink, because oil can solidify in cooler temperatures.
