Acne cleansing with barrier-supporting care

CeraVe combines 4% benzoyl peroxide with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. The cleanser helps treat breakouts while the supporting ingredients address hydration and skin comfort, making the formula more than a simple cleansing base. It starts creamy and lathers with water before rinsing away.

Cleansing with barrier-supporting ingredients

The creamy formula rinses away dirt and excess oil. Ceramides, cholesterol and moisturising ingredients support the skin barrier, but the acne treatment can still cause dryness or irritation. This is a cleanser to rinse off, not a moisturiser or leave-on treatment.

How to use

Massage a small amount gently onto damp skin over the affected area, avoiding the eyes, then rinse well. Start once daily and increase to morning and evening only if needed and tolerated. Reduce to once a day or every other day if drying or peeling becomes troublesome.

Important precautions

For external use only. Do not use on very sensitive skin or if sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Avoid eyes, lips and mouth. May bleach hair and coloured fabrics. Other topical acne medicines can increase irritation; if this occurs, use only one at a time.

Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use sunscreen. If sensitivity develops after combining with sunscreen, stop both products. Stop treatment if irritation is severe. Keep away from children. Store at 20°C to 25°C.
