One tube, two ways to tackle breakout-prone, oily skin. Neutrogena Clear Pore combines 3.5% benzoyl peroxide with kaolin and bentonite clay. Use it as a rinse-off acne cleanser or an occasional oil-absorbing mask.

  • US Clear Pore formula: 3.5% benzoyl peroxide.
  • Two-in-one format: daily cleansing or a short-contact clay mask, used as directed.
  • Pack size: one 4.2 fl oz (125 ml) tube.

This formula contains fragrance and menthol. The mask is not for daily or overnight use.

How to use

  • As a cleanser: wet your face, gently massage over the skin while avoiding the eyes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Start once daily, increasing only if needed and tolerated according to the pack directions. Reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness occurs.
  • As a mask: smooth on an even layer, avoiding the eyes. Leave for no more than five minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Do not exceed two or three mask applications per week.

Important precautions

For external use only. Do not use on very sensitive skin or if you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Avoid eyes, lips and mouth, and contact with hair or coloured fabrics, which may bleach. Using other acne medicines at the same time increases the risk of dryness and irritation; if irritation occurs, use only one at a time. Stop if irritation becomes severe. Use sunscreen and avoid unnecessary sun exposure. If sunscreen and this treatment together cause irritation or sensitivity, stop both. Keep away from children.

Contains fragrance and menthol. Store at 20–25°C.

Inactive: Water, Glycerin, Kaolin, Bentonite, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Titanium Dioxide, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Menthol.
