A creamy, fragrance-free acne wash with 2.6% benzoyl peroxide. Cetaphil Gentle Clear cleanses away surface oil and dirt while treating acne, with glycerin, liquorice-derived dipotassium glycyrrhizate and zinc gluconate in the formula.

How to use

Massage a small amount onto damp skin for 20–30 seconds, avoiding the eyes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. The label allows twice-daily use. Reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness or peeling becomes troublesome. Do not leave it on as a mask.

Important precautions

For external use only. Do not use on very sensitive skin or if you are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Avoid eyes, lips and mouth, and contact with hair or coloured fabrics, which may bleach. Using other acne medicines at the same time increases the risk of dryness and irritation; if irritation occurs, use only one at a time. Stop if irritation becomes severe. Use sunscreen and avoid unnecessary sun exposure. If sunscreen and this treatment together cause irritation or sensitivity, stop both. Keep away from children.
