Acne treatment in a solid cleansing format

A benzoyl peroxide bar makes treatment part of your cleansing step, combining removal of surface build-up with an active that targets acne-causing bacteria. The solid format can be useful if you prefer a lathering bar to a bottle or tube. Work up lather and spread it gently instead of rubbing the bar firmly against blemishes.

Choosing this cleanser

A medicated rinse-off bar, rather than a leave-on gel. The high-strength formula is not suitable for very sensitive skin or anyone sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Consider other acne products in your routine, as combining treatments can increase irritation.

How to use

With warm water, wash the affected area for 1–2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Start once daily, increasing gradually to two or three washes daily only if needed. Reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness or peeling becomes troublesome.

Before use

For external use only. Avoid eyes, lips and mouth. The product can bleach hair and dyed fabrics. Limit unnecessary sun exposure and use sunscreen outdoors. If sensitivity develops with sunscreen, stop both products. Stop for severe irritation. Keep away from children. Store at 15–30°C.

Active: Benzoyl Peroxide 10%.

Inactive, pictured carton: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Coconut Acid, Water, Sodium Isethionate, Ethylene/VA Copolymer, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Sodium Tallowate, Titanium Dioxide, Mineral Oil, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA.
