A benzoyl peroxide bar makes treatment part of your cleansing step, combining removal of surface build-up with an active that targets acne-causing bacteria. The solid format can be useful if you prefer a lathering bar to a bottle or tube. Work up lather and spread it gently instead of rubbing the bar firmly against blemishes.
Acne cleansing in a solid format
This non-soap bar uses coconut-derived cleansing ingredients to make a rinse-off lather. Benzoyl peroxide treats acne during washing, without a pump bottle or a leave-on gel.
Choosing this strength
This is a high-strength formula. Dryness, redness and peeling are possible, especially when introducing benzoyl peroxide or combining it with other acne treatments. Ask a pharmacist if you are unsure whether this strength suits your skin.
How to use
Lather with warm water and gently massage affected areas for 60–90 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow the supplied frequency instructions; reduce use if dryness or peeling occurs. Rinse hands and skin carefully before touching towels or clothing.
Before use and storage
For external use only. Not for very sensitive skin or benzoyl-peroxide sensitivity. Avoid eyes, lips and mouth. Use sun protection. It can bleach hair and fabrics. Stop for severe irritation. Keep away from children. Store dry at 15–30°C, away from direct heat and humidity.
