PanOxyl's maximum-strength 10% benzoyl peroxide foaming wash treats breakouts as you cleanse, while 0.1% adapalene gel works on the build-up inside pores over time. A rinse-off benzoyl peroxide wash and a leave-on retinoid are a popular pairing for stubborn breakouts.

How to use them together
Wash your face with the foaming wash: wet the skin, massage in gently avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of the adapalene gel to clean, dry skin in the evening, over the whole area prone to breakouts. Both can cause dryness or sensitivity in the first weeks, so start gradually, for example with the wash once a day, and use a sunscreen during the day. Benzoyl peroxide can bleach towels, clothing and hair.
Who it suits
Anyone building a straightforward two-step routine for persistent breakouts. Not suitable for very sensitive skin or anyone sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Do not use on broken or sunburnt skin. Read the directions and warnings on each pack before use.
