This benzoyl peroxide formula treats acne after the cleansing step, remaining on the affected skin rather than being washed away. Its acne-treatment active reduces the bacteria involved in breakouts and helps improve spots and blocked pores. A thin application provides a focused treatment step within a simple acne-care routine.

Choosing this treatment

This is a leave-on gel, rather than a face wash. The 10% concentration is not suitable for very sensitive skin or anyone sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Consider your existing acne routine before adding another treatment, as using several together can increase dryness and irritation.

How to use

Cleanse thoroughly, then spread a thin layer over the affected area. Start once daily. The pack allows a gradual increase to two or three applications daily if needed. Reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness or peeling becomes troublesome.

Before and during use

For external use only. Keep away from eyes, lips and mouth. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and apply sunscreen when going outdoors. If irritation or sensitivity develops with sunscreen, stop both products. Stop the gel if irritation becomes severe. It can bleach hair and dyed fabrics. Keep out of children's reach.

Pack and storage

The pictured tube is labelled 1 oz (28 g). Keep the cap closed and avoid storage below approximately 4°C or above 38°C.

Full ingredients

Active: Benzoyl Peroxide 10%.

Inactive: Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Laureth-4, Sodium Hydroxide, Water.
