Stridex pads bring 2% salicylic acid into a pre-soaked format, avoiding the need to dispense a liquid onto separate cotton pads. Wiping over the affected area helps remove surface oil and build-up while leaving the acne active on the skin. The alcohol-free formula is a practical option for a straightforward post-cleansing treatment.

What to expect

These textured pads apply a leave-on acne treatment after cleansing. The solution contains fragrance and menthol: alcohol-free does not mean fragrance-free or irritation-free. Choose this format if you prefer a pre-measured pad to a bottled liquid.

How to use

Cleanse first, then wipe a pad across the affected area to leave a thin layer. Begin once daily; increase gradually to two or three times daily only if needed. Reduce to once daily or every other day if dryness or peeling becomes troublesome. Do not leave a pad resting on the skin.

Before use and disposal

For external use only. Do not use if allergic to salicylic acid or if the seal is broken. Avoid eyes, lips and other sensitive membranes. Other acne treatments may increase irritation; if this occurs, use only one at a time. Keep away from children. Bin used pads, never flush, and wash your hands afterwards.

Full ingredients

Active: Salicylic Acid 2%.

Inactive: Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Xylenesulfonate, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, Menthol, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water, Simethicone, Sodium Borate, Tetrasodium EDTA.
