Balance an oil-absorbing step with a moisturising finish

The first mask uses clay to absorb excess surface oil, while the second gives skin a cooling, hydrated feel. Used in sequence, they provide contrasting textures within one facial-care ritual: a warming cleanse followed by a lightweight finish. The gel contains moisture-binding sodium hyaluronate and soothing allantoin.

How the two steps work

The clay stage absorbs surface oil and gives a warming sensation; the gel stage adds a cooling, moisturising finish. These are separate formulas designed to be used in sequence, not mixed together. The gel contains allantoin, sodium hyaluronate and blue tansy oil. This is a cosmetic mask, not an adapalene acne treatment.

How to use

For first use, test a small amount on one or two areas of freshly cleansed, damp skin. Rinse with cold water after up to 30 seconds. Only proceed if there is no discomfort.

1. Use the dual-ended spatula to apply the warming clay to clean, damp skin.
2. Leave for three minutes, then rinse with cool water.
3. Apply a thin layer of the cooling gel over the face. Leave this second step on; do not rinse.

The pack directions recommend using the two steps together two or three times a week.

Before use

Avoid the eye area. Rinse off and discontinue if the warming or cooling sensation becomes uncomfortable or irritation develops. Check both ingredient lists if you have known sensitivities; the clay includes avocado, coconut and shea ingredients, and the gel contains blue tansy oil and colourants.
