Softened in hot water, it moulds to the fitting surface of the denture and fills the gaps between denture and gums, creating a cushioned layer and a suction seal. The brand says a single application can hold for up to four days.

No daily reapplication

Because it is waterproof, it is designed to stay in place through eating, drinking, cleaning and overnight soaking instead of washing away each day. It is described as glue-free, so there is less of the sticky residue associated with creams. The brand states it is safe for plastic, porcelain and acrylic dentures.

Material and pack details

The orange paste is zinc-free and, according to the brand, non-toxic, tasteless and odourless. The listing gives a full cure time of six hours. The pack contains three 1 oz tubes, and the brand has made the product since 1950.

How to use

Follow the pack instructions to soften the material in hot water, then press it into your clean denture so it moulds to the fitting surface. Fit the denture as normal.

Before you choose

This works differently from a daily adhesive cream or powder, so read the full instructions on the pack before the first application. If your dentures feel loose, it is worth having the fit checked by your dentist.
