The manufacturer describes it as all natural with no additives or preservatives, vegan with no animal by-products, and gluten free. It gives food a smoky taste and aroma without needing a smoker or charcoal fire.

From the grill to the stockpot

Dash or brush it onto steaks, chicken, burgers or hot dogs before cooking in the oven, on a charcoal barbecue or on a gas grill. It can also be stirred into soups, gravies, sauces, baked beans, salads and dips, or used with seafood, eggs and poultry wherever a smoky note would suit the dish.

What smoke flavour means here

This is a seasoning liquid used in small amounts, not a ready-to-pour barbecue sauce. The vinegar gives it a tangy edge, so add a little at a time and taste as you go.

How to use

Mix into dishes, or apply to meats, chicken, burgers or hot dogs for a smoky, tangy flavour.
