The brand states the sandalwood is sustainably and ethically sourced from valued wood, and it forms part of its Positive Change Project. It comes in a 15 ml (0.5 fl oz) bottle.

Where it fits in your blends

The brand positions sandalwood for centring and grounding aromatherapy and suggests pairing it with bergamot, patchouli or jasmine. Suggested carriers include skin care oils, unscented liquid soap or lotion, and witch hazel extract, and it can also be used in a diffuser.

How to use

For a scalp massage, blend 2 drops into 1 teaspoon of argan oil. For a roll-on, combine 4 drops with 2 teaspoons of fractionated coconut oil in a roll-on bottle and apply to pulse points. The label dilution guide per 1 oz (2 tablespoons) of carrier is 6 drops for the face, 12 for the body and 18 for home care. For diffusing, follow your device instructions.

Before you choose

This is an undiluted essential oil, not a ready-to-use massage oil, so it needs a carrier before it goes on skin. Not for internal use. Dilute properly, avoid the eyes and mucous membranes, and stop use if irritation occurs. If pregnant, nursing, suffering from any medical condition or taking medication, consult a healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
